Storage place; flooding; hidden; forgotten; carnal nature; soul; lust; depression; secret sin. (Jer. 38: 6)
To dream of being locked or lost in a basement or dungeon is symbolic of a spirit of abandonment, imprisonment or isolation at work in your life. It is a place of spiritual stagnancy and captivity.
Positive: Seeing yourself escaping a prison, dungeon or leaving a basement denotes coming out of isolation; being set free and escaping the entrapment of darkness. You have won and you have been set free from the low areas of life. This is a calling to rise up to enjoy liberty.
Prayer points:
Father God, bring me out of captivity and help me enjoy the glorious liberty you have paid for me.
Take me out of the dungeons of life and help me soar like an eagle.
Make me the head and not the tail in all my endeavours.
